I don't think it's the fact that they always appear as cartoons that people like them, it's their good music. I don't listen to them often, but I like what I have heard from them. However, the cartoon act does tend to get annoying...

My sister is crazy about the gorillaz. However, despite the time they must but into the comuter animation n stuff, i hate thier songs. I mean honestly, their music clip are just so... random.
