I am a musician and I live in Vancouver. I first saw Coldplay live at GM place here. That was to the day on Motzart's 250 birth or death anniversary. Of those two concerts Chris Martin wrote, "the fans on this tour (05) have without exception been great,
but some nights the roof just gets blown off the stadium. I was there and I have yet to come down from that show.
I'm going to see them again this next week at Pembertonfest. Violet Hill for me is just another wonder in the garden which is Coldplay. How
many rabbitts can Chris Martin pull out of his hat?
With help like Jonny buckland, Guy what's his bass and the drummer (?) he can probably do this until the day he dies.
For me Coldplay are an amazing example of the power of creation. As the great Eric
Burdon penned, "if you want to know the meaning of life, don't pass music up".
What was Motzarts favourite instrument... the human voice.
Sing on Coldplay, sing on.
I love this cd like all the others (last 5 anyway), and just hope they keep at it.
