Wolf wrote on 1st Aug 2006, 19:22h: Anastacia's befamed debut album. Being a fan since the early days when she became famous at MTV's show "The Cut" I was ofcourse destined to buy this album. It consists of 12 nicely produced tracks with a clear "real instruments" production without any digital whee-effects. The vocals are the strongest part of the production, and by that I mean the lead vocals of singer Anastacia Newkirk but also her three amazing background vocalists. My favorites on this record are "Black Roses" because of the lyrics, "I'm Outta Love" because of the hit factor and "Not That Kind" because it blew my mind at first. Let's rock, and a bit of pop. |
