The Beatles

So much has been said and written about the Beatles -- and their story is so mythic in its sweep -- that it's difficult to summarize their career without restating clichés that have already been digested by tens of millions of rock fans. To start with the obvious, they were the greatest and most influential act of the rock era, and introduced more innovations into popular music than any other rock band of the 20th century. Moreover, they were among the few artists of any discipline that were simultaneously the best at what they did and the most popular at what they did.

I love the beatles, almost all of their songs are perfect in tune and lyrics. I totally understand them, I think The Beatles is one of the best bands in the history of music. I love John Lennon and Paul McCartney songs alot. I think I like Bob Dylan a
little bit more though. I dont care too much for Ringo Starr's songs. I mean c'mon Yellow Submarine? George Harrison is ok, I like here comes the sun. muzikfan101 old bands dont mean they are not good...
If that's your view on music then you probably
like Justin Timberlake or soemthing.
THe beatles r the best, they have influenced me alot.

I'm sure they have done bad songs. Did you ever hear Revolution Number 9?

They have a new album out (bizarrely) which is classic Beatles songs remixed by George Martin and his son. It's not too bad, there are some nice mixed medleys, some quite
interesting ones (my fave is 'Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite' fused with 'I Want You (She's So Heavy)' and 'Helter Skelter'). Definitely worth a listen if you're a Beatles fan, and let's face it, who isn't?

Really? My school just used "Here Comes the Sun" as a theme song! ... I really do love that song, among most of their others as well. Actually, I don't think they ever created a bad song!

Much love,

Yes half of them died... but their Cds are still selling. It's crazy.
And like Jenny said, who cares if they're dead. They're legends!

Who cares if they're old. They are still one of the best bands who created fantastic music.

The Beatles, though very great, are sadly slipping into darkness. I STILL LOVE THEM!!!!!!! Why do people get bought out by the newest, flashiest stuff, AND FORGET THE CLASSICS????
