Blood And Flames lyrics
You thrust the knife into my side with words you say you realize
That I came to speak of what I see no matter what you do to me

I stand -- no compromise -- I feel -- prepared to die

Falling, our lives were led astray when we fell from grace
Calling, your life won't be denied when washed with blood and flames

You thrust the knife into my side with words you say you realize

I stand -- no compromise -- I feel -- prepared to die

My life for yours, this raging war, as I stand in the midst of darkness screaming

Falling, our lives were led astray when we fell from grace
Calling, your life won't be denied when washed with blood and flames

My life for yours, this raging war, as I stand in the midst of darkness screaming
We know our roots, we know the truth, the strength of our foundations

I stand -- no compromise -- I feel -- prepared to die

Falling, our lives were led astray when we fell from grace
Calling, your life won't be denied when washed with blood and flames

My life for yours, this raging war, as I stand in the midst of darkness screaming
We know our roots, we know the truth, the strength of our foundations

I rather enjoyed that song. some on here were kinda brutal. but that's just an opinion. One the track, In The Fire, I really wish that Matt and Corey guitars were on different song just wasn't a fan of the singing. guitars beautiful.

Jesse Leach takes to the vox on this song by "Captain" Matt Heafy. Despite the underlying Christian message in the lyrics, I really love this song. The guitar work done by Heafy gets the job done, sounding very "Killswitchy", with the strong riffing
held down by power chords. Leach is what makes this song great though. He has an incredible vocal range, from soaring highs, to vicious growls that would do justice to the meanest bulldog. He uses it all in this song, which demonstrates just how
powerful a vocalist he is.
