Ingrid Michaelson

Upon a more in-depth listening of Ingrid, I've arrived at the conclusion that she is an amazing artist. I watched her on PBS's Artist's Den and realized just how skillful she is with her instruments, songwriting, and perhaps most of all, voice. An amazing
artist. Her sense humor's great too.

I just heard her new single for the first time. Her melodic skills are decent I guess, although she could still use some work. Her vocal is good, contrary to my comments on it in my angry rant in one of my reviews of "The Way I Am". Unfortunately, I still
find her lyrics mediocre.

Overall - , - she could still, in my opinion, use work with her songwriting skills. She's getting there, though. I'd say one or two more records and I might start liking her.

I don't think I'm a really big fan of hers. Sorry to all of the fans of her, but I just don't find her songwriting skills all that impressive. Maybe I could be too picky after listening to Butch Walker and The Goo Goo Dolls for so long, I dunno.

I think " The Way I Am" is a very beautiful song and Ingrid Michealson has a pretty voice.

Its refreshing. . .to hear a gal sing a nice song to/about a man she loves. . Unconditionally. . With natures flaws and all. . .True.
