I think Leona Lewis has a great voice. All I dislike are the lyrics--Ryan Tedder is a talented man, so I wish he would have done a tad better. Love ballads don't always fall under my taste is all, although, they occasionally do. For example, I lightly liked her second single.
To get my opinon clear: I do NOT think Leona Lewis sucks.

I was very excited to hear that she was working on another English album, but if all the other songs are similar to this by any means… Well, the only reason I’d be buying the album would be to keep up to date on my Utada album collection. The lyrics don’t appeal to me very much, and while her voice is pleasant like always, it sounds as though she’s attempting to gain more recognition and a larger fan base in the states by adapting to the mainstream style. :[ Shame.
On Dec 15, 2008 on 21:31 Jenny Valentine wrote the following review: Artist: The KillersLyrics: SpacemanReview:This is one of my favorites of the album Some of the lyrical content reminds me mostly of Sam's Town album, but also a little bit of Hot Fuss. Then again, it has 'The Killers' sound' in it, and that's why I like it (; Not to mention that the lyrics are a tad silly (in a good way)...

Aside from the mini-English lesson... =/
I don't fancy this song... She was quoted as saying this was supposed to be her summer hit of 2008, but--and not being a Rihanna fan whatsoever--I think some of her others songs are better than this; I don't find it to be a very creative song. I also heard Chris Brown originally wrote this but Rihanna wanted it as her own, so maybe that's why it doesn't seem like her type of song?

It took me a while to like this song, but when I finally got around to listening to the song on full... The lyrics aren't some of my favorite, but they're decent and likable. The piano is a nice touch, as it is with any slow song like this.

I've only ever liked one or two of his songs in the past at most. When I heard this on MTV's VMAs, I enjoyed his performance. It's a new sound from him...

I’m afraid I don’t have much else to say to make this a substantial review.
