Artist: Green Day
Lyrics: I Fought The Law

Review:
I'm not a Green Day fan, so I wouldn't know anything about this song, but the lyrics are very similar to "Monster Hospital" by Metic where she sings, "I fought the war but the war won."
O.o

Such language.

You know you can correct it yourself, right?

Artist: Adam and Andrew
Lyrics: The Emo Song

Review:
How many years has it been since this song came out? I think I heard this about three years ago, and so three years later I can still say that parts of this song still amuse me; although, not as much as I originally found them to be. I hesitate to say it's "inventive" at all, because I'm sure some other talented artist(s) could write a similar song, perhaps better than this. In all, I think it's all in good fun. :]

Natgeo, you shouldn't limit yourself and your friends to the "emo" label. People are too individually diverse.

This song is made of $3xc hawtness. (And if you can actually get what I just just said you win a cookie since it's an inside joke.)

But I mean it; it's a good song. Take a listen, say you like it, buy the album.

Artist: Utada Hikaru
Lyrics: Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence - Fyi

Review:
Did I really miss all that capitalization or did someone edit this?

This is one of the better and stronger songs on the album, but I'm still in the shock with disappointment, because I know she could have done better. She does a lot of name-dropping in this album, and I just have to ask: Was the reference to Captain Picard necessary? I actually think the reference is a bit annoying. But I won't deny the vocals in this song. It starts off as though you think it'd be a bit of a sappy song, but if anyone's like me, the song's vibe is rather easy to get lost in. The lyrics are still suggestive, which she does a lot of in this album. For anyone who does know me knows that such lyrics aren’t my thing, but the feeling and overall vibe Utada Hikaru brings forth through her voice makes it enjoyable nonetheless.

I still have to hear Sakamoto's song, though.

Artist: Miley Cyrus
Lyrics: Fly On The Wall

Review:
I call copy-cat on this song!
D8<

Seriously. The beat to this is WAY too similar to The Killers' song, "All the Pretty Faces." And the intro, too...

And for anyone who is wondering why I the heck I listened to this song: I was Youtubing The Killers' and stumbled on a video talking about this.

D8< Epic fail, Miley. Epic fail… And so send me hate mail, Miley fans—I get enough as it is. A bit more won’t do me any damage.

And again, my review was cut short ;_;
And so I finish it off with that one omitted line:

Sorry, but I needed to vent my excitement about this somewhere.

Artist: The Killers

Review:
I just saw them perform this song live on Jay Leno tonight, and I have to say that it was good one. I wouldn't particularly say it's one of their best--just a few places where Brandon sounded slightly off key, but otherwise it was well performed. I've seen the band tweak their songs when performing live before, whether it's at a concert or not, and it usually works. However, no tweaks here--just the good original version. C; Plus, I did like how Brandon tried to keep his vocals as close to the album version with his microphone.

Lyrics: When You Were Young

Review:
I feel so... wounded right now. Flaming is lame. :|

Paunch? I'm sorry, but that word in that sentence does not mix, nor does it make sense. Bunch, perhaps? Unless there is a phrase or definition I'm not aware of. D8

Artist: Siouxsie And The Banshees
Lyrics: Monitor

Review:
Eck, why such a low rating? ;__; I actually really like this song. I can see how someone can become easily bored with it, but I find the music hooking from the very start, the lyrics are interesting, and Siouxsie Sioux's voice is likable (well, in my opinion! C; ). Overall, it's an engaging song.
