I think she would.

I was referring the overall sound. I always pay attention to the meanings of songs that I listen to.

Even still, I can already tell that she's lowered her level of talent to meet the criteria of mainsteam music in the states. (And it appears to be working, more or less.) This is highly disappointing.
After being a little disappointed in "Come Back To Me," I found a little hope after hearing "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence - FYI," but this features samples of Sakamoto's version. "Taking My Money Back" is a one star song all around and while "Apple & Cinnamon" is okay, the lyrics are almost too cliche it earn a three/four star rating.
I'm curious to hear the rest of the album when it comes out (May 12th, I believe...), but I have low expectations. (Still buying it, though!)
On Jan 30, 2009 on 07:39 Jenny Valentine wrote the following review: Artist: Franz FerdinandAlbum: Tonight: Franz FerdinandReview:Whether you’ve been a fan of Franz since the beginning or just discovered them this album is worth the buy. I wouldn’t say this surpasses their first album, but it’s just as good (if not slightly better than) the second. They’ve still got their signature style, yet the sound is new and differs from their previous work. I’m currently trying to get my hand on the dubbed bonuses (I highly recommend giving “Feel The Pressure” a listen!), but the songs that stand out the most would be: “No You Girls,” “Twilight Omens,” “Can’t Stop Feeling,” and “Live Alone.” Both versions of “Lucid Dreams” are good, but I think the pre-album version wins in comparison… It’s significantly shorter, but it’s also more upbeat in pace; then again, the last few minutes of the album version is rather fun and enjoyable, too.
The only song I don’t like (unless it happens to grow on me after a period of time…) is “Katherine Kiss Me.” It’s almost like the return of “Eleanor Put Your Boots On” … Eeehh!

You could just leave a comment on one of their profiles or message them. That's what I do, anway!

Although I don’t typically like Ryan’s solo work (such as “Bleeding Love” and “Your Started It”), when it comes to OneRepublic the music is very good. His voice, for starters, can reach some fairly high pitches, but at a soft tone. Lyrically, the content is all very decent, and I do like the style of wording. Whether the music is more calm and subtle or slightly upbeat, I’ve yet to be disappointed.
The songs they’ve chosen to be singles are good choices, too. Many people (although, most are more familiar with Timbaland’s version) liked “Apologize,” and as for the rest I think give audiences a general idea of the overall album. “Tyrant” and “Won’t Stop” stick out a tad, but I have only a few negative things to say about each.
On Jan 15, 2009 on 00:18 Jenny Valentine wrote the following review: Artist: The CureAlbum: 4:13 DreamReview:I have not heard all the songs from this album yet, but from what I can tell: 4:13 Dream doesn't sound as good as their earlier work. I read that the band had written around thirty or so songs and was going to release the album as a two disc set, but decided against it and left off all the darker content. I also read that Smith is unsure if they'll be released... :[
I hope they decide to try the band's original style at some point again! ...It seems as though that's where most of their greatest songs have come from.
On Dec 01, 2008 on 20:27 Jenny Valentine wrote the following review: Artist: The KillersAlbum: Day And AgeReview:It sounds like a slight continuation of Sam's Town with some new elements added to the mix. Though, certain sounds and some of the lyrics do remind me of Hot Fuss. The songs are good, but I must admit that I am slightly disappointed... I guess I wanted more from the band... =/ ?? In other words, it is a good album, but it pales in comparison to the band's two other studio albums, as well as Sawdust.
