What ARE you trying to say? I get that you don't like this band, but where are you getting all these suicidal/people who kill/jackass/wierdos crap? Sorry, but I'm finding these statements of yours to be rather asinine.
If you dont like them, you don't like them. At least make your review clear as to why not... i.e. their sound, the lyrics, music, what their music portrays, etc. It's really not that hard to make a decent review, darling.
As for me, Brandon may have a bit of an ego, but I do enjoy their interesting lyrics with some twists here and there. They may not be THE best band of all time (although, that depends on everyone else's personal opinion), but they're my favorite band as it stands.
Despite Brandon's seemingly prissy, egotistical appearance, those traits alone don't represent the band as a whole. Mark's bass (which became more prominant to me in"Sawdust") combined with Dave's guitar work fairly good. Of course, I think it's Brandon's vocals that that appeal to me the most... It reminds me of Robert Smith's unique voice.
Even though I haven't liked every song that they've recored, I enjoy most of them due to the concepts and the atmosphere that's created.
And excuse me for being stubborn, but I must comment on the fact that you say you're tired of them. Really, they don't get too much publicity. I can understand if it's an overplayed song here and there such as "When You Were Young." As much as I do like that song, I'm quite sick of hearing it on the radio station I listen to the most, along with it continuously being on the top ten (on this site, mind you.) ...Personally, I think they have better songs than that. | |
