Max Cavalera's choice to leave Sepultura was in my opinion not a bad one at all. Soulfly is definitely a good alternative, if not better at the moment. Soulfly classics like Jumpdafuckup, I and I and Primative were surely wonderful when they performed at Pinkpop and Graspop this year. An interesting combination on the first song with Slipknot and Stone Sour singer Corey Tailor, who did not wear his mask this time.

Soulfly combines Cavalera's amazing guitar skills and vocal creativity with smashing drums, catchy riffs and like we are used to the Brazilian drums and the usual 'uno', 'dos', 'tres', 'quatre'. Ofcourse, Soulfly wouldn't be the same if they didn't play some Sepultura classics like Roots Bloody Roots. Amazing live, great performance and even listening to all the CDs at high volume doesn't quite reach that same groove they have live.

I'd say listen some Soulfly to get fucked up and them later on see them live so they can totally blow you away. Rock on.
