I Write Sins Not Tragedies lyrics

Oh, well imagine; as I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor,
and I can't help but to hear, no I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words.
"What a beautiful wedding!, What a beautiful wedding!" says a bridesmaid to a waiter.
"Oh yes, but what a shame, what a shame, the poor groom's bride is a whore."

I chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing the god damn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I'd chime in "Haven't you people ever heard of closing the god damn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of.....

Oh, well in fact, well I'll look at it this way, I mean technically our marriage is saved
Well this calls for, a toast so, pour the champagne,
Oh! Well in fact, well I'll look at it this way,
I mean technically our marriage is saved
Well this calls for a toast, so pour the champagne, pour the champagne...

I chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing the god damn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I'd chime in "Haven't you people ever heard of closing the god damn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality...

Again......

I chime in "Haven't you people ever heard of closing the god damn door?!"
No.
It's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I'd chime in "Haven't you people ever heard of closing the god damn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.

I don't believe in saying the LORD's name in vain at all. He could have just said damn.

I LOVE this song!!! A friend of mine turned me onto Panic! at the Disco and now I can't get enough of them! Not to mention that my roommate is just as addicted so we listen to them 24/7!

I love the video! It won a Moonman! I love the circus so when I saw the video I was in awe. It's like they read my mind about what a good video is on my opinion. I am never gonna forget this song! But the girl/whore in the video says "I love you" weird. I thought she was saying "Tacos!" LOL

The story of the song is kinda sad: Brendon marrying a whore... boohoo... he married a whore when he coulda married me! lol

I love how Ryan is creating a story in this song... it's definitely the most innovative song on the album. If you really think about the lyrics, they make sense. Ryan is a lyrical genius.

the lyrics are kinda cool if you get them. not too fond of the band...they made some good songs.

Great fantastic band who makes awesome and listen to worthy music! Though, I don't know to much about the band or the bandmembers themselves. I've only heard a few of their songs.

Hey hey Brendonfreak! I think soundrape will always be on everyone's list! lol.

Much love,
Jenny

Dude I'm starting to LOVE Panic! They are so cute! I think Brendon's cute but my favorite is Ryan! They're music is so good and I love this song!

Personally, I liked the music more than I liked the lyrics, but both are okay.

Whao oh!! Looks like Soundrape got a bunch of people mad.... As much as I didn't like soundrape's review as you guys didn't, can you all please stop with the threats and over-use of cussing? Let's just go back to the reviews for the song, please! *adds in: Reviews consists of both negative and positive*

Thanks and Much Love,
Jenny Valentine

Omg. Devvo. You need to watch what you're saying. You have some real anger issues. Well, at least that's what I think you have. I can't actually read half of the things you are writing. So, go take some spelling lessons and come back when you can actually write something that can actually be read.
