Nephew is a Danish rockgroup formed in the fall of 1996 by Simon Kvamm (vocals, lyrics), Kristian Riis (guitar), Jonas Juul Jeppesen (bass) and Søren Arnholt (drums). In 1996 the band attended DM in Rock (Danish Music Competion), but they didn't win the competition. Later Jonas Juul Jeppesen was replaced by Kasper Toustrup, just before the group released their first album "Swimming Time" in 2000, though the album was not a great succes. The 14th of February 2000 the album was rereleased on Copenhagen Records.
The reason for this was that Nephew had had trouble with the rights to their old Record Label Martian Records, but in 2004 the band made their big break-through with the album "USADSB" with hitsongs such as "Movieklip", "En Wannabe Darth Vader", "Superliga", "Ordenspoliti" and "Worst/Best Case Scenario". Their latest album "Interkom Kom Ind" was released the 6th October 2006, and was a succes with the critics.

Nephew is a very good band, indeed. I love the way they sing in English/Danish, their beat and just their whole style combined.
And now they've remixed Timbaland's "The Way I Are", and it's great. I hope they'll work more with him in the future. (:
