Biography - Cobra Starship
Having released three albums in four years, the band has gained a lot of popularity. But how did the story start? -- After the departure of Gabe Saporta from his former band Midtown, he decided to start up his own full time project. This evolved what became to be "Cobra Starship" and it was inevitable that the band recorded a song for the closing credits of box office hit 'Snakes On A Plane'.

A year later, the second album ˇViva La Cobra! was released which debuted at #80 on The Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. Around this time the band was touring heavily, with over four tours in a year. As a headliner, as a support act - Cobra Starship did it all. This resulted in a steady fanbase, especially since they were touring together with a lot of other bands, such as Angels & Airwaves, The Kings and soforth.

Cobra Starship's third album, "Hot Mess", arrives in August 2009; including their first single "Good Girls Go Bad" which features actress slash singer Leighton Meester. Another tour was started at the 3rd of that same month, called the "Love Drunk Tour".
